Police say the pair used hand sanitizer to spike Jane Miller's tea.
The boys have confessed to squirting the gel in her mug at least twice.
Miller says she didn't notice a funny taste.
But eventually, she began to get stomach aches and ran a temperature.
It could have been much worse. Doctors say ingesting hand sanitizer can be lethal.
Both of the 13-year-old suspects now face felony charges.
The boys haven't offered a reason for trying to poison their teacher.
