Back in February, Lansdale police received word that 19-year-old Harley Duval, of the 1300 block of Needham Circle in Hatfield Township, was involved in the sale of heroin.
Then in March officers observed Duval engaged in a drug transaction with an individual in Hatfield. Police were able to recover several packets of what was later determined to be heroin.
On March 4th an undercover officer arranged to meet Duval at a location on E. Main Street in Lansdale. Duval arrived driving a red Chevrolet Sonic and sold four bags of heroin to the officer.
The officer arranged to meet Duval again on March 8th at the same location on E. Main Street. Duval arrived driving the same red Chevrolet Sonic and sold five bags of heroin to the officer.
On April 4th Lansdale Police located Harley Duval on Independence Way in Hatfield Township and took him into custody. In his possession at the time of his arrest were four hypodermic needles, numerous used blue glassine heroin bags, a glass pot pipe and two bags of heroin.
Duval was arraigned and charged with three felony counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, three misdemeanor counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, three misdemeanor counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, three misdemeanor counts of Receipt in Commerce, and two felony counts of Criminal Use Of Communication Facility.
Duval was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $25,000 cash bail.
