2-alarm house fire in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - April 14, 2013

It happened around 4:00 Sunday afternoon on the 1000 block of West Wyoming Street.

Authorities say the flames started in the rear of one of the homes on the block.

The fire was brought under control by 5:15 p.m.

Several residents were forced to evacuate as a precaution but no injuries were reported.

Three people were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked the blaze.
