Lawsuit: CVS worker used racial slur on receipt

EGG HARBOR, N.J. - April 18, 2013

Hyun Lee said she used her name when she ordered photos from CVS online.

But, Lee claims, when she picked up her photos from a CVS in Egg Harbor, a worker had changed the name on the receipt to "Ching Chong Lee."

Lee is of Korean descent and said she was "highly offended."

"It's just horrifying and I don't want anyone else to go through this," Lee said.

Lee says she complained to the company in an email. In a response, the company apologized and said the worker would be 'counseled and trained.'

But Lee wants the worker fired.

She is also seeking $1 million in a federal lawsuit claiming mental and emotional damages.

A statement from CVS says the company is "committed to treating all of our customers with dignity and respect."
