Eagles release 2013 regular season schedule

April 18, 2013 7:29:50 PM PDT
The Eagles officially begin the Chip Kelly Era with a Monday night game at Washington in the NFL opener on Sept. 9, and former coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs visit Philadelphia in Week 3 in another nationally televised game 10 days later.

Those are the only two scheduled night games for Philadelphia, which used to be a major prime-time draw during its run of success under Reid. The Eagles are coming off a 4-12 season and haven't reached the playoffs since 2010.

Kelly left Oregon after going 46-7 in four years and leading the Ducks to prominence. He brings an innovative, up-tempo offense to Philadelphia, and many observers are eager to see if his success at college will translate in the pros.
