It happened around 12 noon Saturday on the 600 block of Jefferson Street.
Arriving officers found 20-year-old Toney Morgan with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he later died.
A second man, 18, also suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken by private vehicle to Wilmington Hospital in critical condition.
An investigation is ongoing and police have not released any further information.
