26-year-old Ryan Gavlick is charged with five other members of his alleged gang.
Authorities say Gavlick ran a sophisticated marijuana distribution operation using multiple cell phones.
Police have been tracking him since 2005.
A new wiretap law passed last year allowed narcotics officers to gather more evidence and move in.
