New Castle Police say a police dog found a woman who had threatened her ex-boyfriend with a knife during a fight.

Officers were called to a Newark home Monday night by a man who told police that his ex-girlfriend came at him with a kitchen knife, then fled.

Police say officers couldn't find the woman, but a police dog was able to track her down in the rear yard. They say Grace Krawiec tried to conceal herself with debris between a shed and a stockade fence.

Krawiec was charged with possession of a deadly weapon and aggravated menacing. She was also charged with offensive touching in an incident that occurred earlier in April.

She's being held on more than $60,000 bail.
