Charges held in deer shooting from Wal-Mart lot

BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. (AP) - May 2, 2013

Forty-year-old Arcangelo "Angelo" Bianco Jr., of Derry Township, would say only, "The truth will come out" after his preliminary hearing Thursday in Blairsville.

Wildlife conservation officers say Bianco fired several shots in the parking lot, causing trailers being unloaded by employees to be spattered with deer blood. Bianco allegedly continued shooting at the fleeing deer, which he retrieved from the side of Route 22 opposite the store, about 45 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Among other things, authorities say Bianco violated the law by firing a weapon within 150 yards of an occupied structure - violating a state "safety zone" law.
