It happened around 3:00 Saturday afternoon at Judy Johnson Park on 3rd and Dupont streets.
Upon arrival officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was flown to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.
A short time later, a second victim arrived at St. Francis Hospital via private vehicle.
He suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and leg and was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
Police say an initial investigation revealed that both victims were in the park seated on a bench when an unknown suspect approached and opened fire.
The suspect remains at large.
