Baby Be Hip offers cool stuff for kids

HORSHAM, Pa. - May 7, 2013

A mother of 4 and entrepreneur crafted her own, homegrown business to help families showcase their prized possessions. It's all about personalization at the Horsham factory they work to help babies be hip!

Mother of 4 Colleen Mook wanted to give other moms, like Erin, a special, stylish way to celebrate their prized possessions."

"After the birth of my first girl Molly... I wanted her name on everything!"

So Colleen created her business, Baby Be Hip.

"It started in my basement! I would be the one to get the items embroidered, package them... the wrapping paper... and then it grew like that."

Today, she creates all kind of trendy, useful little things for tiny gals and guys such as tote bags.

"As a mother of four, I really believe that the items should be functional because there is only so much room."

No matter the name, Mook can make it on sweaters, blankets, hooded towels, beach towels, beach hats, baby bloomers, and her signature buckets!

"You can put diapers and wipes in there, or Legos, or Barbie dolls."

Colleen also created a few things for some of our Action News babies, like Nydia Han's little Sabine, who just turned 1, so all of sabines' little things can go in this bag! Colleen also made a little something for Jamie Apody's little man Tanner.

Mook is offering a free shipping if you buy something from her website, babybehip.com. Just be sure to enter the code "6at4" at checkout.
