Trae Bodge of RetailMeNot.com says there are still deals on items Moms actually want.
Bodge explains, "We just conducted a survey to find out what the most popular gifts are for moms, what moms really want. And among those more popular gifts were those more traditional gifts, the flowers and the jewelry, a day at the spa and gift cards. But all of those things can be found at reasonable prices and last-minute as well."

Bodge says, "The floral online retailers, they're very good about shipping tomorrow. And quite often you don't have to pay anything extra. Pro Flowers, they will ship next day, 1-800-FLOWERS, FTD."
And jewelry doesn't have to be expensive either. Ross-Simons is taking 30% off all purchases with the code MOTHER through May 12, 2013. Or you can find many pieces from Blue Nile that all cost less than $100.
Bodge adds, "They're so beautiful and special and affordable. So they're definitely worth checking out and we do have coupons for them on our Mother's Day page."
If a spa gift is too pricey, consider putting together a Spa-at-home pack with fragranced soaps and oils. Bodge selected items from Olivita that cost a total of $38.
But you don't have to get the items online. Bodge says, "And if you don't have time to order them before Mother's Day, you could always put something together on your own. Use youre CVS membership card, save a little money that way and put something together in a basket."
If you're shopping for cards, you can also pick-up a Magic Prints frame for $10 to $25 at Hallmark stores.
Bodge says, "They actually allow the child to put their handprint on there and what a wonderful keepsake! They have little spots for photographs as well. So, really affordable and a fantastic last-minute gift."
