2 struck in Philadelphia shooting caught on video

PHILADELPHIA - May 13, 2013

On Monday, police released surveillance video of the May 5th gunfire at 1701 Hunting Park Avenue.

According to investigators, a man who appears to be the intended target had just left Roses Bar and was standing on the corner when two suspects approached and started to fire.

The victim was able to duck behind a parked car for cover, but was still hit by a bullet.

Another victim, who was in the area at the time, was also shot.

After the shooting, the suspects fled on foot south on 17th Street from Hunting Park Avenue.

Both victims survived their injuries.

Police describe the suspects as:

Suspect #1: Black male, medium build, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue hooded jacket, dark colored jeans and dark colored sneakers.

Suspect #2: Black male, medium build, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
