Officials seek cause of Pottsville blaze that killed 6

POTTSVILLE, Pa. - May 14, 2013

The blaze broke out around 11:55 p.m. Sunday at the single-family home in Pottsville, killing four children between the ages of 2 and 8, along with their father and an aunt. Their mother had been at a neighbor's house doing laundry at the time.

Investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen and they're looking at a wood-burning stove as a potential cause.

The victims have been identified as 30-year-old Eric Brown; and his children, 2-year-old Elijah Brown; 3-year-old Emily Brown; 7-year-old Jeremiah Brown; and 8-year-old Joy Brown. Twenty-six-year-year-old Kristina Thomas also died. She's the sister of 28-year-old Kelly Brown, the mother who survived.
