Atlantic City casino security manager charged with promoting prostitution

TRENTON, N.J. - May 24, 2013

36-year-old James Curtis of Brigantine, New Jersey was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree promoting prostitution and fourth-degree obstructing administration of law.

According to the state Attorney General, back on June 24, 2011 Curtis obstructed an investigation into prostitution at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City where he worked as a security manager.

The investigation alleges that Curtis alerted a woman, who he knew was a prostitute, that he had received an e-mail about the presence of undercover detectives conducting prostitution details in the casino.

Curtis was arrested at the Taj Mahal on May 15, 2012. He was also fired from his job that day as a result of the investigation.
