The call to police came at about 9 p.m., reporting the two in a car on the 200 block Cityview Avenue in Wilmington, Delaware.
Officers responded and found Dion Bacon, 18, and a 17-year-old and detected the smell of marijuana. The police searched the pair after they got out of the car, and officers found 17 Xanax pills for which Bacon did not have a prescription.
When police searched the car, they found a loaded .22 caliber silver revolver and a loaded black .380 semi-automatic handgun. Police say Bacon is a convicted felon thereby prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Police also found 2 grams of marijuana.
Bacon and the teen were locked up on drugs and firearms charges.
