Woman struck by school bus in Germantown

A school bus struck a pedestrian Monday afternoon in Germantown.

Police say the woman in her 60s was crossing the street and appeared to be in the crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The bus, owned and operated by First Student, was transporting students from the Wissahickon School District as it made a left from Musgrave Street onto Chelten Avenue at 4:25 p.m Monday.

No one's been cited.

The pedestrian is recovering at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
