The shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m. along the 2800 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
One man was shot in the chest and a second man was shot in the torso, police say.
Both men were taken to the hospital.
The victim with the chest wound is in critical condition and the other victim is stable.
Police are trying to determine if the shootout was just between the two men or if a third person was involved.
The incident is under investigation.
