Investigators say the suspect was seen trying to break into cars near Street Road and Mechanicsville Road in Bensalem on Monday at 7:10 p.m. when he was approached by another man.
The suspect stabbed the man in the abdomen, then fled east through the Giant Shopping Center. The victim is hospitalized in stable condition.
Police are searching for a black man last seen wearing a white with red pinstripes "Brooklyn" jersey, red pants, black sneakers, and a black hat.
