It happened around 9:00 Saturday morning.
27-year-old Conner, originally from Wallingford, Pennsylvania, is a linebacker for the New York Giants.
Authorities say he had a switchblade in his luggage while he was going through a terminal.
TSA officers spotted the knife and called police.
Conner was taken into custody and faces a charge for weapon possession.
He was later released on his own recognisance.
