Sposabella Bridal to hold inventory clearance

August 1, 2013 2:39:05 PM PDT
Roberta Rushing's Sposabella Bridal salon is unique, because Roberta hand-picks all the gowns in her inventory, including dresses from European designers not often seen here.

Gowns at Sposabella retail for $1200 to $4000.

This Sunday, Rusing is doing something entirely new. She's having a sale.

She explains, "We have a lot of inventory and we have decided to have this event for the brides on a budget. The brides love the designer gowns but not the designer price tag."

Among the gowns that will be at the sale, a lace dress from Pronovias Bridal in Barcelona, Spain. It retaills for $3950, but will be on sale for $499.

More than 500 dresses from Sposabella's inventory will be included in the sale. Prices will start at $99 -- and none will be more than $499. Even a Dupioni silk dress by Casablanca, that retails for $1975, which will be on sale for $199.

Rushing adds, "We have past season 2010, 2011 and 2012, that are going to be at this event. We've chosen a very nice assortment, different textures and different shapes, different sizes from size eight up to size 22 And we have lots of different deisgners, a lot of American designers, but also a lot of European designers."

The sale will run from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Fisher's Tudor House. The address is 1858 Street Road in Bensalem, Pa.
