Gas leak causes evacuations at Philadelphia International Airport

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA - August 4, 2013

Around 6:30 Sunday night fire crews were called to Terminal A west.

Crews arrived to find that there was a gas valve leak coming from an overhead heater.

Authorities evacuated Gates 21 through 26.

All airport employees and passengers were relocated to other gates. No one was injured.

PGW crews shut off the gas and worked to fix the leak.

Airport officials say there have been no flight cancellations stemming from the incident.
