Polar bear for sale

It has been a fixture at a Pennsylvania restaurant for years.

Now owners of the eatery are trying to get their 8-foot stuffed polar bear fixed up with new owners.

Patrons at the Woods Creek Grill near Harrisburg have been able to pose for photos with the bear.

But now that the restaurant owner is selling the restaurant, he's finding that getting rid of the bear is, well, a bear of a task.

The animal was legally shot in Alaska in 1967.

But since then, laws have changed so that the stuffed animal can't be taken across state lines or be sold to someone in another country because of endangered species laws.

Even selling it within the state of Pennsylvania would be hard - except that the owner has paperwork documenting where and when the bear was killed.
