Police investigate stabbing in Upper Merion

UPPER MERION, Pa. - August 20, 2013

Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to the Marquis Apartments on the 200 block of West Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia.

According to police, a 31-year-old man suffered non-life threatening stab wounds to his torso and arm. He was transported to Paoli Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released later in the morning.

The investigation has revealed that the victim was involved in an alteration with another man inside the Marquis Apartments. After leaving the complex, the two men got out of their cars on Route 202, leading to the stabbing.

The victim then returned to the Marquis Apartments and called for help.

Police say the victim knew the suspect. Investigators are now questioning a suspect and witnesses.

Charges are pending.
