Standoff with police ends in Levittown, Pennsylvania

One man is in custody after a tense standoff with police in Levittown, Bucks County.

It began around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday in the unit block of Rocky Pool Lane in the Red Cedar section of Levittown.

Initial reports said a man was holed up inside a home, possibly armed with a shotgun.

Police and SWAT units were dispatched to the scene and cordoned off the area, including a stretch of New Falls Road.

The incident ended peacefully about an hour later.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed three officers leading a man in handcuffs from a home into a waiting patrol car.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

There was no immediate word who the suspect is or what led to the standoff.
