Flames erupt again at burned Dietz and Watson plant

DELANCO, N.J. - September 18, 2013

The fire was reported around 12:45 p.m. at the plant in the 1000 block of Cooperstown Road.

Firefighters were called to put out the flames. Investigators have previously said there were a number of hot spots still among the ruins of the plant.

The fire originally erupted on Sunday, September 1st at the plant, which is the size of six football fields.

It took firefighters more than 24 hours to bring it under control.

Nearby residents have since complained of a "rotting meat" smell around the plant.

There has been no word on a cause of this fire.
