Prayer vigil held for slain Rite Aid manager

CHESTER, Pa. - September 27, 2013

A prayer vigil was held Thursday night at the store where 40-year-old Jason McClay worked at 9th and Highland streets.

He was gunned down during an attempted robbery on September 19th.

McClay's family was in attendance at Thursday's vigil and his father acknowledged the community's outpouring of support.

"He would want me to thank the communi, his Rite Aid family and the people in the community, you all meant a great deal to him," said Bruce McClay, father.

The suspects, 24-year-old David Wiggins and 23-year-old Rita Pultro, were arrested last weekend in Philadelphia.

Both Wiggins and Pultro remain in custody facing first, second and third degree homicide charges and related offenses.
