It happened around 11pm on the North Freeway and Airtex in the parking lot of the Chula's Sports Cantina.
A security guard shot and wounded a man who he says pointed a gun at him. The man was a passenger in a car driven by another man. The guard says those men had pulled guns just minutes earlier during a parking lot brawl.
Deputies later found the car riddled with bullets and the driver told them he had dropped his wounded passenger at the hospital. No one has been charged.
