Man sought in Citizens Bank robbery in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - October 16, 2013

The robbery happened at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Citizens Bank located at 5607 Vine Street in the city's Hadington section.

According to investigators, the man entered the bank and handed a teller a demand note. The teller complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then fled the scene.

Authorities have released surveillance photos of the suspect. He is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 6' tall, medium build, with dirty blond hair and a goatee. He wore a long-sleeve shirt with a multi-colored design on the chest.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
