If watching the Eagles vs. Dallas game on Sunday isn't your idea of a perfect afternoon and you're looking for a bit more culture, you might want to check out the free concert at the Settlement Music School.

On Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at 3:00 p.m., a number of the school's faculty members will be performing and admission is free.

The concert will take place at the Mary Louise Curtis Branch, 416 Queen Street, in South Philadelphia.

To RSVP, call Rejoice Jula at 215-320-2684 or email: rejoice.jula@smsmusic.org.

This year's concert features violin and viola faculty Daniel Elyar, violin faculty Fran Berge, and friends performing Baroque music on authentic period instruments.

The concert, In Stilo Fantastico, takes its name from the compositional style of the mid-17th century, the era of Baroque music before Bach and Handel. The concert program will include:
Fantazia: "three parts upon a ground," Z. 731 -- Henry Purcell
Sonata "la Cesta," Op. 3 -- Pandolfo Mealli
Sonata quarta, Op. 8 -- Biagio Marini
Sonata in Eco con tre violini -- Biagio Marini
Sonata quarta "unarum fidium" -- Johann Schmelzer
Kanon und Giga -- Johannes Pachelbel
