Masked gunman robs convenience store in Lumberton, NJ

Police are looking for a masked gunman who held up a Burlington County convenience store in broad daylight.

A surveillance camera captured the scene Sunday afternoon just before 2:00 p.m. inside the One Stop Shoppe on Eayerstown Road in Lumberton.

Investigators say the man ran into the store, pulled out a silver handgun and demanded money.

The clerk complied. The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are looking for a very thin medium- to light-skinned man, about 5'11" tall. He was wearing a hooded "Aeropostale 87" sweat shirt, red bandana, and red baseball cap with writing on the front and gloves.

He was carrying a gym bag and fled on foot headed toward the nearby Whitehall Apartments.
