Firefighters battle 5-alarm warehouse blaze

Firefighters on the scene of a 5-alarm blaze at a warehouse in Trenton, New Jersey early Saturday morning.

The fire broke out just before 4:00 a.m. on the 300 block of North Olden Avenue.

Crews arrived to flames spreading throughout a block long warehouse.

Firefighters quickly went to work and called for assistance.

Action News learned that one part of the warehouse is owned by Empire Furniture Designs.

The rest of the building is vacant, officials say.

The fire was placed under control around 6:30 a.m.

At least a part of the warehouse has been destroyed by the fire.

Firefighters expect to remain on the scene to douse any hot spots.

So far, no reports of injuries or word on what sparked the blaze.
