School bus collides with truck in East Mt. Airy; injuries reported

EAST MOUNT AIRY - November 4, 2013

The crash happened just after 8:00 a.m. in the 6300 block of Ardleigh Street.

Four adults, including the bus driver, were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Eight of the eleven students, who were on their way to Houston Elementary School, were also transported. However, the school district says they were treated and released from the hospital.

The intersection of Ardlleigh and Washington lane has traffic signals. There appears to be tire skid marks behind the truck, which belongs to New Jersey street marking firm, Traffic Lines Inc.

Investigators say it is too early to say which driver may have been at fault.
