Truck gets stuck under N.J. Turnpike in Mt. Laurel

MT. LAUREL, N.J. - November 4, 2013

It happened at 8:30 a.m. Monday on Hartford Road in Mount Laurel, where Hartford Road crosses under the turnpike.

Emergency responders say the truck hit the underside of the turnpike and got stuck.

Engineers were evaluating possible damage to the turnpike structure.

Traffic on the turnpike itself was not affected.

Hartford Road was closed between Centerton Road and Marne Highway as crews worked to free the stuck truck.
