The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes near West Sherman Avenue (Route 55).
Police say 56-year-old Dennis Bradford of Millville was driving on Route 55 when he lost control of his car.
His car crossed the grass median, into the southbound lanes, before going off the road and hitting two trees.
Bradford, who was the lone occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries reported.
