The shooting occurred just before 12:30 a.m. at the Little Spot II bar on Belfield Avenue and Penn Street.
According to police, the victim was playing a video game in the front of the bar when he was shot.
He managed to run to the back where he collapsed.
Police say he was targeted and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Officers rushed the man to Einstein Hospital. He was listed in critical condition.
Several witnesses are being interviewed.
