Victim in $2M NJ robbery tells of terror, beating

EDGEWATER, N.J. (AP) - November 29, 2013

The unidentified man suffered a brutal beating during the incident early Tuesday morning at the luxury St. Moritz luxury apartment building in Edgewater. The 25-story building overlooks the Hudson River.

Two people have been arrested and are being held in lieu of $1 million bail. Edgewater police identified the pair as 30-year-old Adonis Sepulveda and 26-year-old Ramona P. Mercado Vasquez.

The victim tells the newspaper that three men and one woman entered the apartment, held him at gunpoint and beat him before making off with the loot. He says he suffered broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade in the attack.
