Security officers at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Bern Township say they had their eye out for Samantha Kochel.
She allegedly stole hundreds of dollars worth of items out of cars in the hospital parking lot on Tuesday.
Investigators say she might have gotten away with it, but she returned seven hours later, apparently looking for more loot.
A security guard recognized her and took her into custody.
