Police and the FBI are asking for the public's help in their search for the man who robbed a Citizens Bank branch in West Philadelphia.

It was 1:07 p.m. Wednesday when the man entered the bank, located at 5607 Vine Street.

The suspect handed a threatening note to a teller demanding money. The teller obliged, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect then fled on foot, heading east through the bank parking lot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, approximately 5'9" tall, thin build, medium complexion. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, black scarf, black hat, and black gloves.

Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department. Authorities say there may be a reward for information leading to this subject's capture, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
