Police say 2-year-old DaShawn Thorpe was last seen at the Precious Moments Daycare at Germantown and Lehigh.
His mother says she hadn't seen him since last Wednesday.
She said her ex-boyfriend Tyrone Rowland picked up the little boy, as requested, but did not bring him back Sunday, as planned.
Both DaShawn and Rowland were found safely near Allentown.
Rowland was taken into custody and faces charges including Interfering with the Custody of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
