It happened around 6:30 Sunday night at the intersection of Christiana Road and Prangs Lane.
According to authorities, the police cruiser hit the back of the truck.
Two officers were inside the cruiser and were responding to a call at the time.
Both officers and the 24-year-old driver of the truck were taken to Christiana Hospital for minor injuries. They were all treated and released.
No word what caused the accident.
