Imposter steals Salvation Army kettle

POINT MARION, Pa. - December 23, 2013

Troopers from Uniontown say the incident happened sometime after the unknown white woman in her late 20s to early 30s showed up to relieve another bell ringer at the Shop 'N Save store in Point Marion Saturday evening.

That's about 55 miles south of Pittsburgh, near the West Virginia border.

The suspect took over the bell ringing about 7 p.m. but was gone by the time another volunteer arrived at 9 p.m. to take over.

Police believe a white man wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt and blue jeans was with the suspect and helped her get away.
