Arrest made in series of Philadelphia robberies

Philadelphia police say they have made an arrest in a string of robberies.

Terrence Harper, 39, was arrested on December 14th while allegedly trying to sell a stolen ring.

After further investigation, police say Harper, of the 7700 block of Temple Road, was identified as a suspect in three robberies.

Police say he robbed the Family Dollar store at 6337 North Broad Street twice - on December 13th and December 15th.

He is also accused of robbing the Whisper Inn at 7610 Ogontz Avenue on December 18th.

Harper is charged with multiple counts of robbery and related offenses.
