Suspect sought in Old City bank robbery

Philadelphia police and the FBI are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect who robbed a bank in Old City.

The robbery happened at 8:13 a.m. on December 23, 2013.

According to police, the suspect entered the Prudential Savings Bank located at 28 North 3rd Street and handed the teller a threatening demand note.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the building.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 20's, 5'7", thin build, wearing a "Carhartt" tan jump suit, dark gloves, red hooded sweatshirt and a red Phillies baseball hat.
