A judge sentenced John Thomas to more than 21 years in prison Friday.
Thomas was found guilty of raping a University of Delaware student and a Delaware Community student back in 2006.
He also attempted to sexually assault another University of Delaware student who fought him off.
Thomas was caught three years after the attacks in Louisiana.
"Initially the shock of all of it finally being done after all these years, I am sure that it will eventually sink in, and they will realize the importance and the greatness that justice has been served today," said Prosecutor Periann Doko.
Thomas spoke at his sentencing Friday, and apologized to his victims.
