Phoenix-to-Philadelphia flight has engine vibrations

PHOENIX (AP) - January 16, 2014

Federal Aviation Administration officials say Flight 714 took off from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport about 10 a.m. Thursday and the plane's crew reported feeling the engines vibrating.

US Airways spokesman Todd Lehmacher says the Boeing 757 circled the airport for 90 minutes to burn off fuel before the plane landed without incident around 11:30 a.m.

He also says an emergency wasn't declared.

Lehmacher says 142 passengers and six crew members were aboard the flight, and passengers were booked on other flights to Philadelphia.

The cause of the engine vibration wasn't immediately known, and the plane is being inspected at Sky Harbor.
