The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on the 400 block of Noble Street.
Police say Halee Salvati was looking the other way when she stepped in front of a car driven by a 21-year-old Kutztown University student.
The force sent Halee airborne and she landed in a ditch nearby her home.
She suffered some injuries and was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital and is listed in fair condition.
The driver is cooperating with police and they do not expect charges to be filed.
