Philadelphia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Summer Camp

Looking for an amazing camp experience for your kids this summer?Back and better than ever, Wildlife Warriors Summer Camp now offers campers even more opportunities for hands-on learning and up-close, personalized animal experiences. This newly-designed program offers week-long sessions in June, July and August from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (and includes before and after camp options for children ages 4 to 13 years-old). Best of all, every program is tailored for each specific age group.

Throughout the camp experience, Wildlife Warriors choose their mission week (Jaguar Rescuers, Tiger Rangers, or Lion Protectors) and set off on a big adventure to save big cats! Campers start each day working side by side with keepers to help take care of the Zoo's animals from across the globe.

Wildlife Warriors choose their mission week (Jaguar Rescuers, Tiger Rangers, or Lion Protectors) and set off on a big adventure to save big cats!

Jaguar Rescuers: Come to the rescue of South America's largest big cat, the jaguar! This week, campers journey through North and South America, working to protect the jaguar, who once made North America their home. Through games, hands-on activities, science investigations and close animal encounters, Wildlife Warriors discover how they can save wildlife around the world and how they can become eco-heroes at home.

Tiger Rangers: During this thrilling adventure, Wildlife Warriors find themselves exploring the forests of Asia to meet tigers and other wildlife. Through games, hands-on activities, science investigations and close animal encounters, Wildlife Warriors will learn how the cookies in their lunchbox or the shampoo in their bathroom can save tigers in Sumatra and countless other species like orangutans and rhinoceros hornbills!

Lion Protectors: In this African adventure, Wildlife Warriors become guardians of the grassland and its animal diversity. Through games, hands-on activities, science investigations and close animal encounters, Wildlife Warriors will join forces to help protect some of Africa's most majestic predators.
