A homeless man who survived a brutal beating in Berks County is speaking out about the attack.

The incident was caught on camera January 12th inside a laundromat in Reading.

Surveillance video shows several attackers smashing a yellow caution sign and a metal basket over the victim's head.

Two people are now in custody.

And police say they are making progress in locating two others seen in surveillance footage.

The victim, who didn't want to give his name, told WFMZ-TV he hopes his assailants can turn their lives around.

"Sometimes you can go to jail and you can benefit from it. Now, that's up to them. The ball's in their court," he said.

Police say security cameras captured the robbery of a 70-year-old woman at the same laundromat that same week.

Investigators do not believe the incidents are related.
