The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m. on the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
A driver crashed into a home, causing extensive damage to the structure and then fled the scene, police say.
A passenger inside the SUV suffered non-life threatening injuries during the crash.
Emergency crews arrived to check the house structure to make sure its safe for the residents to stay inside the home.
Police are searching for the driver.
